Pola Pemberian Makanan Dengan Kejadian Stunting Pada Anak Usia 1-5 Tahun
Abstract
Background: Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood and Giving iron tablets (TTD) to young women to prevent anemia is a government program. This is often hampered by the obedience of young women consuming iron tablets. Motivation is one of the inner influences to consume iron tablets. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between young women's motivation towards iron supplement consumption and the incidence of anemia in young women. This study used a cross-sectional method conducted at SMK N 6 Samarinda with a total sample of 30 young women. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed with the chi square test. The results showed that 77% of female adolescents had strong motivation and 83% of female adolescents were not anemic. This study was calculated using the SPSS software to obtain a p value of 0.001, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between young women's motivation towards consumption of blood supplement tablets (TTD) and the incidence of anemia in adolescents. Motivation is a factor for young women to consume iron supplement tablets (TTD). The stronger the motivation for young women, the less the incidence of anemia.
